The Eighth World €Chapter 1: Uncle

The memories in her mind were so chaotic that it was impossible to find any useful information. All she knew was that she was a fool and had an uncle who loved her.

Ding Rou opened her eyes, sat up slowly, and looked around. There was nothing in the room except a big bed. Her uncle must have been worried that she would accidentally bump into it while she was playing crazy.

“Ding… find out the murderer who killed the heroine in her previous life. The murderer will start at 4 a.m. on March 5th. The murderer will first rape the original owner, and then brutally kill and divide the body. Finally, the body will be thrown into the sea, and the original owner will die with his eyes open. As for the target of the attack, let the host choose, just make the other party fall in love with the host.”

Ding Rou nodded softly, put on a pair of pink slippers, and opened the door. There were several people playing chess outside the door. Seeing Ding Rou wake up, one of them walked up quickly, “Rou’er, are you awake?” He had a handsome face, dark skin, and was about 1.83 centimeters tall. Judging from his face, he should be in his early 30s, but there were a few fine lines at the corners of his eyes. He must have been worrying about a lot of things.

“Come, uncle will take you to dinner.” Su Yanhe didn’t mind that Ding Rou didn’t answer, and carefully helped her to the kitchen.

He was originally an orphan, but he survived with the help of villagers and government subsidies.Because of his good academic performance, the villagers collectively contributed funds to sponsor him to go to college. However, the villagers had a requirement: when he succeeded in his studies, he must return to his hometown to become a teacher.

He has lived up to expectations and is now in his seventh year as a teacher.

Speaking of Ding Rou, when he first met her, she was dirty and her eyes were dull. Looking at Su Yanhe’s silly smile, Su Yanhe could tell at a glance that there was something wrong with her sanity, so he took pity on her for being homeless and took her home.

There was a dirty handkerchief in her trouser pocket. Su Yanhe washed the handkerchief, and it was embroidered with Ding Rou’s name and birth date. Seeing this, Su Yanhe sighed lowly. Maybe her family abandoned her, and he was already lonely and helpless, so he simply took her in.

Although she is a fool, she is extremely clingy to him. She tugs on his clothes and calls him “uncle” every day.

In the past few years, young men would propose marriage to him from time to time, but he couldn’t let go. He had to be patient with the little guy. Sometimes the little guy would cry in the middle of the night. He would stay with her all night to comfort her. How could those young men have the patience to comfort her.

He simply has no plans to start a family and has made up his mind to take care of the little one for the rest of his life.

Before she could figure out the details of this man, Ding Rou didn’t dare to say a word and allowed the man to feed her. Her eyes were dull, but she was quietly sizing up the man in front of her. He patiently coaxed her to open her mouth. Every mouthful of rice seemed to have been measured and had the same size.

He has a gentle face, and his every move exudes elegance and ease, which makes people feel happy and happy when they look at him, and they cannot be wary of him.

“Are Rou’er uncomfortable? Why didn’t you call her uncle today?” Su Yanhe looked at her face carefully. Normally, Xiao Rou’er would make a fuss about asking for uncle when she got up, but today she didn’t call him uncle. He was inevitably a little worried.

Ding Rou turned her face blankly, looking like a complete fool, “Uncle”

“Well, be good.” Su Yanhe put down the bowl and touched her belly. “Our Rou’er is full. What are we going to play today? My uncle has a day off today and can play with Rou’er.”

Ding Rou didn’t know what the original owner liked to play, so she could only shake her head.

“Rou’er doesn’t know? Can uncle take you to fly a kite?” Looking at the rosy-faced and delicate-featured person in front of him, Su Yanhe secretly sighed that it was a pity. She should have been a lively and agile person. What was the reason that kept her IQ at the early childhood stage?

While Su Yanhe was washing the dishes, Ding Rou walked out of the kitchen and looked at the surrounding environment. The green bricks in the small courtyard were quite old and there were various unnamed flowers planted in the courtyard. Two men were sitting in front of the stone table, playing chess. Ding Rou couldn’t guess for a moment what the relationship between the two men was with their uncle. Maybe they were in the same household?

“Rourer, do you want to play chess?” The man grinned, showing his shining white teeth. He stood up and walked towards Ding Rou, “Brother will take you to pick fruits later, okay?”
