    Chapter Index

    Ambitious and self-employed X warlord [6]

Li Xin rushed back, first found Xiaochai, and touched her forehead to make sure there was no fever.

Immediately, she simply bandaged her and covered her body with the cotton clothes she found.

Then, she followed the dripping bloodstains and found the man behind the cabinet.

He had passed out, his hat tilted to one side.

The wound on his abdomen was oozing blood, and in the dim light, Li Xin was able to see clearly that he looked handsome.

He has refreshing short hair, a well-defined face, and thick, slightly raised sword eyebrows. There is something tough and heroic that belongs only to soldiers in his eyebrows.

The bridge of his nose was high, and even in a coma, his lips were tightly pursed and slightly thin, and his jaw line was resolute and sharp, as if carved with a knife or an axe.

Li Xin glanced twice and then looked away.

It’s too early to make any choices now. She has to wait for another target person to appear and observe carefully before making a final decision.

She didn’t want to be abandoned in the end.

After patting the man’s face and making sure that he had completely passed out, Li Xin breathed a sigh of relief and put back those pitiful and frightened expressions.

She calmly cut his clothes open with a knife, revealing the bloody wound.

To be honest, she wanted to leave it alone, but if she continued to let it go like this, if this person died, there would be one less target for the strategy, making it difficult to compare.

Li Xin didn’t have any medicine, nor could he exchange times with the system, so she disinfected him with wine and wrapped him with a clean cloth.

She could have dug out the bullet for him, but firstly, she had no such experience and was afraid of accidental injury. Secondly, she didn’t want him to be suspicious of her.

A contract worker from the countryside actually knows how to treat wounds?

    How ridiculous.

So she did everything she could and should do, and then she just resigned herself to fate.

Qi Heng struggled twice but still couldn’t wake up.

Li Xin wiped her hands, ran back to Xiaochai, and held her in her arms.

The fire will not burn it, but she has no intention of leaving. One is that she has killed the foreman, and the other is this man.

Since she is the target of the strategy, she will not do favors without expecting anything in return just to avoid trouble.

She still needs to rely on him to get out.

A night of twists and turns made her tired, achy and sleepy. Holding Xiaochai’s warm body, she fell into a deep sleep in a short time.

It was dark, but the Qi family’s mansion was brightly lit.

Qi Zhen sat at the bottom, with the brim of her hat lowered, covering her face and dozing.

One of his legs was raised directly on the table next to him. The two slender legs looked like lines carved by a ruler and a knife, which were particularly beautiful.

At the top, a rather charming and beautiful woman was lying on the ground, sobbing sadly.

Looking at the middle-aged man in the middle, his features are quite powerful, and there is a crease between his eyebrows, which can be seen that it has been forged over many years.

He sat upright, with his back straight and not a trace of old age.

    It was Marshal Qi.

    “Bastard thing!”

Marshal Qi slapped the table beside him with such force that the tea utensils on the table shook for a while, “What have you done to your fifth brother!”

Marshal Qi’s rich voice had no impact on Qi Zhen. He laughed, reached out and took off the hat covering his face:

“Fifth brother is gone, what does it have to do with me?”

Under the candlelight, Qi Zhen’s and Marshal Qi’s similar eyebrows showed completely different tastes.

His eyebrows were like ink marks, his eyes were bright and long, and the tail of his eyes was thin and slightly raised in a curve, which was beautiful and arrogant.
