    Chapter Index

    Carnivorous Cinderella’s niece

Li Xin thought that Andre’s family background really surprised her.

He actually also holds the title of earl, which is of course more powerful than Wilson’s.When she entered his house in London, she was deeply attracted by the elegant decoration.

After a brief rest, she was taken to the room prepared for her.

And the first thing that caught her eye was her portrait. She is in a comfortable posture under the sun. It is obvious that the person who painted her knew her very well and found the most beautiful angle.

Li Xin couldn’t help but look at him with a smile.

Andre coughed slightly and explained with some embarrassment:

“I just drew a random picture.”

Of course, he would not admit that the failed works in the study belonged to him.

“There’s a dance tonight, have a good rest.”

He deliberately changed the topic and kissed Li Xin on the forehead:

“I have prepared many things for you, you should like them.”

He purposely glanced at the closet, and just by doing so, Li Xin understood. She didn’t ask him anything else, but gave him a kiss on the cheek in response and sent him out the door.

When she was lying on the bed exhausted, she couldn’t help but think of the progress of the task.

    Why isn’t it done yet?

    ————

The ball was held by a duke and was, of course, very grand.Li Xin looked at those dazzling skirts going back and forth, and finally had some sense of reality that she was in Europe.

She originally thought that she and Andre were low-key enough, but apparently others didn’t think so.

A young and handsome man came over. Although he was talking to Andre, his eyes kept looking at Li Xin:

“Oh, I didn’t expect that you would bring a charming young lady with you when you came back. Do I have the honor to know her name?”

Andre covered Li Xin behind him and raised his chin:

“George, has your father released you yet?”

The man known as George made an exaggerated expression of frustration:

“God, don’t mention him again. I repeat those boring etiquette actions almost every day. Maybe he wants me to not deviate from even one angle.”

Li Xin was amused by his appearance.

    So Andre was unhappy.

    “Obviously, that’s not very effective,”

    He sneered,

“You look like a peacock in full bloom. Spring is already here, isn’t it?”

    George’s expression changed wonderfully:

“Maybe I shouldn’t have come to you.”

    Andre curled his lips:

“No, it’s probably because your eyes are in the wrong place, so you look like you’re exuding some kind of impatience.”

To put it crudely, it smells disgusting.

George collapsed and covered his cheek.

“You always make me speechless…but I’m here to remind you that our princess may have broken a lot of things when she heard that you have a fiancée.”

He patted him on the shoulder, looking like he was watching a good show:

    “Have a nice day.”

Andre raised his eyebrows, but did not refute him.

However, Li Xin smelled something unusual, and she captured Andre’s subtle expression, which was a rather complicated change.

This princess is probably a little different from Eleanor.

After George left, Andre became strangely silent. He took Li Xin to the dance floor, but he seemed a little absent-minded.Li Xin’s questions were slowly solved by his unusualness, and she somewhat understood the reason why the progress had been delayed.

    “Arthur, you don’t look well.”

She raised her eyes to look at him, but he didn’t meet her eyes.
