    Chapter Index

    Carnivorous Cinderella’s niece

Li Xin smiled and said obediently:

“It’s up to you, of course, if you’d like to let me have a drink.”

Andre saw the cunning in the girl’s eyes, and actually thought she was really cute like this. She was different from many women he had seen. If he were not in this status now, he might be as fascinated by her as the men who were looking at her.

    What a pity.

He shook his head, hiding a genuine smile.

Andre brought a glass of red wine for himself, but still brought Li Xin a glass of fruit pulp for her.Although it looked delicious, Li Xin’s expression still inevitably showed a hint of disappointment:

    “Oh, you’re so mean,”

She took the cup with some sadness, and her delicate and slender fingers inadvertently touched the back of his hand. The warm and cool strokes made Andre feel as if he had been crawled by ants.

    “I’m an adult girl now.”

She pouted, making people unconsciously want to kiss her plump, rose-colored lips.

Andre’s eyes paused on her lips for a brief second, and then naturally turned back to her face.He raised his eyebrows, his light gray eyes glowing with a light blue:

“In my heart, you are still a child.”

He seemed to see something, but he seemed not to.

This man’s intuition is damn accurate.

    “I can’t speak to you.”

She could only lower her golden eyelashes in frustration.

Why does she always feel that he is making a pun?

Andre didn’t stay here long before the countess, a butterfly, flew out of the flowers. Li Xin looked at her dazzling skirt and felt her head start to feel dizzy.

“Oh, dear Andre, how can you hide here,”

She hugged him passionately, and even Li Xin found the smell of perfume irritating.

“You’re supposed to enjoy the dance, aren’t you?”

The countess had no intention of looking at Li Xin at all. In fact, she hated this hateful, humble girl. She almost stole all the limelight from Margaret, and the handsome gentlemen could hardly take their eyes off her.

Andrei was dragged away by the countess, and his good breeding prevented him from pushing her away in full view of the public. But Li Xin could see that his whole body was tense and his brows were almost knitted into a ball.

She took a sip of the pulp and ignored it.

Humph, let him deliberately distance himself from the relationship.

As soon as Andre left, the gaze he cast on her became obviously much more intense. She could feel those substantive eyes, the eyes of men looking at women, especially beautiful women.

Sure enough, someone slowly walked towards her.

These gentlemen may not be as good as Andre, but they are not bad either.

Li Xin smiled at the young man walking at the front, and in an instant she changed from a beautiful rose to a pure and innocent lily. She knows how to grasp this measure, a little shy, a little shy, with reddish cheeks and reserved eyes.

The young man was so excited by her sight that he came naturally and invited her to dance.

    And Li Xin agreed.

Li Xin actually didn’t like the mixed smell of the dance floor. But she knew that Andre still needed her to rescue him, otherwise the countess, who had long planned to be his wife, might have to use some extraordinary means.

God, the countess is almost forty and she can’t stand it.

There are no women of this age who are not beautiful, and there are even ladies with outstanding temperament. But these people did not include the Countess. She looked a little fat, and the lines on her neck indicated the traces of time.

And she was holding Andre’s shoulders at the moment, and her whole body wanted to stick to it.

After taking one look at Andre’s face, Li Xin couldn’t help but smile.
