    Crazy little literary bird [Thirty-one]

Bai Jiujiu had always been docile in front of her, and his occasional temper was not as bad as it was now. To be honest, Li Xin was shocked by him.

She stayed in bed for a few minutes, until she heard a heavy knock on the door of her home, then she realized what she was doing and hurriedly ran downstairs.

    Bai Jiujiu has left.

Li Xin was silent for a while, feeling a little unsatisfied. Instead of chasing him out immediately, he sat on the sofa in the living room angrily.

    I’m used to him!

She provided him with food and drink, and now he actually dared to show disgrace to her. Running away from home was all leftover, and she didn’t care!

You deserve to starve to death outside!

Thinking about it, I turned on the TV, and angrily took out a lot of snacks and placed them in front of me. I planned to treat myself to a good meal and never care about this dead bird.

At the beginning, she was indeed very happy, and the anger in her heart was relieved a lot by the funny variety show.

As time passed by, she felt that her stomach was bulging, she could no longer eat the snacks in her mouth, and she became more and more absent-minded.

She looked at her fingertips on her phone from time to time, and then looked out the window at the night.

Bai Jiujiu didn’t know where he went.

Li Xin sometimes hates her own soft-heartedness, but even though she had to support Bai Jiujiu at first because of system tasks, after being together for so long, she has developed some feelings for her. She can’t really be hard-hearted.

When the time approached seven o’clock in the evening, Li Xin was already restless.

She walked to the door, opened it, looked around for a while and then closed it again. The urgency and worry accumulated deeper and deeper, like a big stone pressing on her heart.

That stupid bird still doesn’t know a lot of things, and he’s pretty pretty. He won’t be abducted, right?

Boys are not safe these days, especially pretty boys.

She paced anxiously in the living room. After procrastinating for five minutes, she couldn’t bear it anymore. She picked up her phone and put on her shoes, planning to go outside to find him.

Unsure of the direction in which Bai Jiejiu left, Li Xin first found the security room of the apartment and described Bai Jiejiu’s physical characteristics to them.

    “…Yes, white hair, probably barefoot.”

As Li Xin spoke, she frequently peeked at the surveillance screen, but did not find Bai Jiujiu.

Either he was hiding, or he was running out. Hiding would be fine, but if he really ran out alone——

Li Xin now really regrets not chasing him out earlier.

The security guard was a nice guy. Seeing that she was really anxious, he called the supervisor to help him pull out the surveillance cameras and take a look.

While watching the surveillance, he also comforted Li Xin:

“It’s normal for young couples to quarrel. Don’t hurt your feelings. You young people just have bad tempers. I have been quarreling with my wife for decades and have been here all my life.”

Li Xin nodded, but did not deny it.

All her attention was focused on finding someone.

The last result shown by the surveillance was Li Xin’s worst expectation. Bai Jiujiu really ran away and never came back.

Her heart clenched, she hurriedly wrote about the two of them and rushed out.

The security uncle called her from behind:

“Call the police first. You, a girl, are not safe at night!”

Li Xin turned around and responded, taking out her mobile phone to make a call while waiting for the elevator to land on the first floor.

The phone rang twice and was connected:

“Hello, hello, I would like to report…”

As she spoke, she walked out of the apartment door. Just as she was about to describe Bai Jiujiu’s physical features, her eyes inadvertently swept across the corner next to the stairs.

    Then, she was stunned.

The operator on the other end of the phone was still asking:

    “Hello, are you listening? Hello?”

    Li Xin said blankly:

    “Sorry, I, I found him.”
