Special Chapter 123, No movement allowed [11]

Li Xin never thought that she would chat with Wen Yao for so long.

They said they were chatting, but in fact she was the one doing the talking most of the time, while Wen Yao was the quiet listener.

He leaned sideways and got slightly closer to her, keeping a just right distance that would not make people feel awkward and show that he was listening carefully.

Occasionally he would answer a sentence or two, but when Li Cui didn’t know what to say, he would change the topic to another part so that she could continue.

So when she came to her senses, she realized that it was already half past four in the afternoon.

Wen Yao got her a glass of warm water, smiled and said:

    “Moisten your throat.”

Li Xin touched her nose and felt a little embarrassed.

Wen Yao is still the same Wen Yao.

No one will feel embarrassed at any time, just like a spring breeze blowing in your face. When you get along with him, you will always let go of your guard unconsciously.

This is the kind of person Moisturizer is talking about.

Li Xin took a sip of water and once again lamented the injustice of his fate.

    “Tuk-tuk-tuk.”

While drinking water, there was a knock on the door, and Li Xin and Wen Yao looked over at the same time.

    “Please come in.”

Along with the warm voice, the door opened a small crack, and Zhirou shyly put half of her face in:

    “Senior…Senior Wen Yao.”

    Li Xin smiled and nodded.

She walked in, her black hair draped softly behind her, and her delicate white hands were tattooed together uneasily, looking very nervous:

“I, I came to say hello to Senior Wen Yao, am I disturbing you?”

    Li Xin hurriedly said no.

There were no extra chairs in the room. Li Xin thought that she and Wen Yao had almost finished what they had said, so she simply stood up and gave up her seat:

“It’s almost time. I’ll go down and prepare dinner. You and Wen Yao can chat.”

Zhirou’s cheeks turned even redder, and even the base of her ears were burning.

As both women, Li Xin had long known about her petty thoughts, but what was unexpected was that Rui Zhirou liked Wen Yao three years ago, and it seems that she hasn’t given up yet?

She silently lit some wax for Ke Zhengzuo.

Before going downstairs, Wen Yao suddenly stopped her.

Li Xin turned around inexplicably, her hand still holding the doorknob, when she heard Wen Yao say softly:

“Thank you for spending so much time with me this afternoon.”

She was stunned, waved her hands and said:

“It’s okay, aren’t we good friends?”

She didn’t dare to look at Zhirou when he spoke. She always felt that something was wrong with Wen Yao’s meaning, but she couldn’t tell what was wrong.

Wen Yao smiled and responded in a low voice:

    “Yeah, good friend.”

He said these words very slowly, with a vague lingering feeling between his lips and teeth.

Li Xin shuddered, quickly lowered his head and walked away.

    .
Why are both of them so weird, Wen Xu is so, and so is Wen Yao.

She felt a headache and pressed her eyebrows.

After going downstairs, others were already warming up around the fireplace. The boys gathered together to play poker. Ding Hanyao and Miao Man sat next to their boyfriends, ignoring each other and playing with their mobile phones.

Wen Xu was busy in the kitchen, while Li Xin walked around and simply walked into the kitchen.

    “Let me help you.”

Seeing Wen Xu running around alone, Li Xin also picked up her sleeves and participated.

Wen Xu glanced at her sideways, but didn’t look away. Instead, he gave her the vegetables in his hand:

“That’s right. We’re having hot pot tonight and you can just help me wash the vegetables.”

There was a chopping board next to the sink. Wen Xu was cutting meat. Wen Xu and Li Xin inevitably stood side by side, squatting next to each other.

As she was washing, she heard Wen Xu next to her ask:

“How was your chat with me?”

Li Xin subconsciously wanted to answer:

    “It’s okay…”

Suddenly I felt strange again, “How did you know that he and I were chatting?”
