    Mermaid Island【8】

The deck was full of people.

Li Xin huddled in the corner and secretly observed the situation outside.

The gentleman and the captain were arguing loudly, and what they were talking about was the mermaid.

, I don’t care what miracle it is, it’s just a damn monster!”

The captain’s roar echoed throughout the ship.

Li Xin slowly squatted down, and through the overlapping crowds, she could clearly see the location of the mermaid.

She was lying on the deck, wet from head to toe, her curly blond hair sticking to her back, covering her upper body.

There was a beautiful blush on her cheeks, and her eyes were hazy and blurred, like a drunk beauty.

One by one, if you don’t look at the silver-gray fish tail.

She was caught in a fishing net, weak and helpless, which made people feel affectionate.

    drunk

    Li Xin swallowed hard.

If she remembered correctly, Joseph was drunk, so did the mermaid really eat him?

She looked at the mermaid’s flat belly and couldn’t imagine how she could eat such a strong man and digest it in such a short period of time.

Just as he was thinking about it, the mermaid suddenly raised his head and spit out a pool of unknown liquid.

Li Xin took a closer look and found that it was some mucus, stained with something similar to pieces of cloth.

Of course the captain also saw it.

He and the gentleman broke out into a more fierce quarrel. The sailors around him were holding weapons and poking the mermaid’s body on the ground with wooden sticks from time to time.

    Li Xin bit her lip.

At the end of the quarrel, the captain was dragged into the captain’s cabin by the man. I don’t know what deal the two reached, but when the captain came out again, although his face was ugly, he still acquiesced to the merman to stay.

She was dragged and thrown back into the water tank in the cargo hold.

Li Xin followed them cautiously and watched them close the door again, but did not lock it.

Probably because his identity was exposed, there was no need for that.

But Bailey was still guarding the door.

Li Xin returned to her room and observed Bailey’s every move through the small partition under the door.

She waited patiently for a long time until he began to tire, and after accidentally dozing off in his chair, Bailey decided to get up and go for a walk outside.

Due to the busy work in the middle of the night, everyone was very tired and no one noticed the small movement.

Li Xin tiptoed towards the cargo hold.

The dark green water tank showed a somewhat strange color in the dim light.

The silver-gray fish tail floated with the water waves. The mermaid closed her eyes and lowered her thick and long golden eyelashes.

    She seemed to be asleep.

Li Xin frowned, not daring to get too close. He only maintained a certain distance and looked at her with bated breath.

As time passed by, her peaceful face was like a sleeping beauty in the water, pure and beautiful.

Just when Li Xin hesitated and wanted to turn around and leave, the mermaid in the water tank felt something, trembled her eyelids, and opened her eyes suddenly.

Li Xin shrank back in fright.

Those blue eyes were as deep as ever, as if she could see the ocean where she lived, the surging waves, and the strange and beautiful underwater world in her pupils.

At the same time, it also represents a fatal danger.

The mermaid stretched out her hands and slowly pressed them against the wall of the water tank

Her fingers are thin and long, with thin membranes connecting them.

She opened her mouth, and tiny whispers sounded in Li Xin’s ears, just like what she heard in her dream.

It’s just that she really doesn’t understand this ancient language.

Li Xin frowned and tentatively said:

    “Thank you, thank you?”

She didn’t know if the mermaid understood.
