    Chapter Index

    Vidal’s headache didn’t last long.

Degenerate people started to appear outside the house one after another, and the conversation between he and Li Xin was interrupted.

The little girl put away her smiling curved lips, her expression became solemn, and instantly returned to her previous indifferent state.

    He couldn’t help but marvel.

“Hey, you haven’t told me yet whether you agree or not.”

Seeing that Li Xin was about to leave, he quickly raised his body and called her in a low voice.

With his ears and tail tucked away, he seems to be 80 percent less alluring to her—in terms of her impatient attitude.

    Li Xin pouted:

“I’ve told you my conditions, it’s your choice how you choose.”

After saying that, she turned around and left without any regret, leaving only Vidal’s thin back.

    “Damn…”

    Vidal muttered and lay back.

He is still hesitating. After all, it goes against his pride to go back on his word after making a promise, so he must be extra cautious whether to take Li Xin away.

Time passed faster than Vidal imagined.

Because he vomited up the black bread Li Xin gave him, he spent almost the whole day in hunger.

We will not be provided with lunch here, only two meals a day, and we will have the opportunity to eat barbecue before evening.

But because Vidal kicked two women into serious injuries, his dinner was still black bread.

Li Xin stuffed the bread into his mouth expressionlessly. Seeing that he was frowning and wanting to spit it out, he couldn’t help but said in a deep voice:

    “I suggest you eat it.”

Otherwise, going to he tonight will probably be difficult.

Li Xin didn’t finish what she said, but Vidal still smelled something unusual in her tone.

he looked around at the numb men who were chained to iron beds again, and the shadow of last night swept through his mind.

    Yes, it’s already night.

He’s pupils began to shrink violently.

After being hungry for a whole day and night without eating or drinking, even he felt much weaker.

So today, can he still stop those women?

Li Xin didn’t care about the change in Vidal’s expression. She walked around the room, distributed food to the men, made sure that they were all finished and ready, then dusted off the crumbs on her hands and planned to let the people in tonight.

She raised her feet and took a step forward.

    Um?

    Didn’t move around.

Li Xin blinked, and the skin of her calf exposed to the air touched the familiar, plush and soft feeling.

She lowered her head and saw the fluffy tail that she loved so much, tightly wrapped around her ankle, preventing her from moving.

She looked back and met Vidal’s gaze.

    “I promise you.”

He’s face turned faintly green under the light, and he clenched his teeth when he spoke, as if he was squeezing it out of his throat.

“But you have to fulfill your promise. I don’t want to come into contact with those women.”

Li Xin tilted her head, clicked lightly, and agreed very readily:

    “Okay.”

She smiles like a naughty little devil,

“However, I have to leave some evidence.”

She leaned over and pinched Vidal’s tail, then held the piece of plush and fumbled in his arms for a while, and unexpectedly took out a small scroll from the wide and tattered robe.

Vidal looked at her movements in surprise.

Li Xin seemed to have been prepared for a long time. He skillfully pulled away the straps and spread the palm-sized piece of animal skin paper in front of Vidal:

“Make a contract with me and I will save you.”

She shook the animal skin paper.

    Vidal: “…”

    He underestimated her.

Gen: Moving is really tiring. Yesterday Gen locked himself in the toilet and was only rescued in the early morning. It was so difficult.

    Double update tonight (tired face)
