    Chapter Index

    “I don’t agree with this.”

According to a week passed after the Hel Galaxy riot, the CEO and Shuo were sitting and confronting each other.

The CEO frowned and looked at him seriously:

“Do you know why I want to keep you?”

If we just wanted to clear out a riot in the Hel system, and let Li Xin and Shuo act together, it would take less than two days to completely solve it.

But it has been seven days now, and Li Xin is still leading the soldiers of the Alliance Army to fight hard in the completely closed Hel system.

    This is simply unreasonable.

“I don’t understand, please tell me.”

Shuo clenched the official letter in his hand tightly. The thin paper was crumpled by him. If he hadn’t deliberately controlled the force, the official letter would have been broken into a puddle of pulp.

    The CEO sighed softly:

    “Have you heard of N7-4?”

he loosened his folded palms, a rare hint of fatigue appeared on his brows.

Shuo was shocked and his eyes widened slightly:

    “N7-4?! You mean-”

The CEO raised his head and his pupils were deep:

“If the Hel system is not closed, once that group of thugs are cornered, they are likely to explode directly.”

N7-4 is not a powerful destructive weapon. On the contrary, it is even silent after being detonated.

But the most deadly thing about it is that it contains terrifying radiation that exceeds the threshold by hundreds or even a thousand times. Even if the affected people have advanced protective clothing and body-protecting mental power, their organs will fail in just a few hours, and their muscles and skin will melt away like burning, and they will eventually die.

    Shuo Mu was speechless.

“The danger this time is indeed immeasurable. You and she are both the best heroes in the alliance, but one of you must stay.”

This is also the reason why Shuo didn’t go with him.

If Li Xin comes back alive, her achievements will be enough for her to take the position of marshal of the alliance; otherwise, if she doesn’t come back…then Shuo will be there.

The CEO’s words were like hammer after blow, constantly hitting his suffocating chest and chaotic mind, making it almost difficult for him to breathe.

He’s face was as pale as paper, the veins on his forehead and neck were pulsing, and his knuckles were clenched, leaving deep marks on his palms.

    “Why let her go?”

Shuo slowly raised his eyes, his voice hoarse,

“You know, she deserves it more than I do.”

Li Xin’s smile under the starry sky seems like yesterday, when she personally promised that she would protect He and Long.

    protect…

    Shuo suddenly thought of something.

“I know this better than you.”

Now that the matter has come to this, the CEO has no intention of continuing to hide it from him.

“I am indeed more optimistic about she. From the beginning, you were the person in charge of this task.”

The CEO turned his back, his pale hair reflected the light, showing a little dull grayness.

He pondered for a long time and spoke slowly:

    “She asked for it.”

That day, the CEO found Li Xin in the darkroom of the base to explain the seriousness of the matter to her, and also informed her of his plan.

After all, as he watches the child grow up, he inevitably favors her.

But obviously, Li Xin had his own ideas.

“If I could beat the shit out of them back then, I can do the same now,”

I still remember her flamboyant smile that day, her golden eyes shining like the morning sun,

“Leave it to me and I’ll be back.”

During the CEO’s narration, Shuo unconsciously bit the tip of his tongue.

Mouth full of fishy and sweet taste.

    A certain Gen:

It’s time for the ending, everyone has to say goodbye to the sweet Shuo Meiren and welcome the dog man (not)
