    Chapter Index

Gu Shaoming watched her subconsciously licking her lips, his eyes darkening.

Qin Qing glanced at the clock and it was half an hour before she got off work. She didn’t dare to look at Gu Shaoming and whispered, “Mr. Gu, I’m going back first.”

Gu Shaoming watched her running away and said nothing.

Qin Qing quickly returned to his seat and sat down, his heart beating like a drum. He never thought why Gu Shaoming was so excited today.

After getting off work, Qin Qing packed up her things and walked out with Gu Shaoming. When they entered the elevator, Gu Shaoming looked at her and said, “Are you going to stay this far away from me in the future?”

Qin Qing looked at the nearly two meters distance between the two and nodded.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it.

Gu Shaoming glanced sideways at her, stretched out his hand and pulled the person to his side.

“Well, that’s not good,” Qin Qing said in a low voice. After all, he was in the company. Although everyone knew about the relationship between the two, they should pay more attention to it.

“It’s just for them to see.”

Gu Shaoming carried Qin Qing to his side, feeling like he was carrying a little chicken.

“Stop, stop, you pulled my hair.” Qin Qing stood on tiptoes and complained dissatisfiedly.

Gu Shaoming quickly let go of his hand and put his arm around her shoulders, letting her lean half into his arms.

The two of them were taking the employee elevator, so when the elevator door opened, the people at the door were stunned when they saw the two of them.

Then he quickly came back to his senses and lowered his head to say hello to Gu Shaoming.

Qin Qing struggled twice but couldn’t break free, and glared at he.

Gu Shaoming didn’t seem to notice. He nodded to them, then looked at Qin Qing and whispered, “Are you still angry? At worst, I will listen to you and recommend that couple restaurant tonight, and then go eat Sichuan food.”

Qin Qing glanced sideways at Gu Shaoming. He didn’t know what kind of medicine he sold in the gourd, but it was good to go out to eat Chongqing food.

She didn’t know that as soon as the elevator door closed, several people started whispering.

“Who said Mr. Gu and Miss Qin had a quarrel? I think they have a good relationship.”

“Yes, and no matter how you look at it, Miss Qin is not that kind of person.”

“That’s right, if someone as domineering as our Mr. Gu can act like a normal person, it means there is no problem.”

The gossip that had been circulating for a day just dissipated.

As soon as he left the company, Gu Shaoming released his hand on Qin Qing’s shoulder.

Qin Qing shook his sore arm and said, “Your hands are not that strong.”

Gu Shaoming saw that she was a little confused in her movements. He didn’t pay attention just now, so he might have struck too hard.

    “Does it hurt?”

    “It’s okay.”

The two got in the car. Qin Qing thought that Gu Shaoming was generous enough to take her to eat delicious food, but he didn’t expect that he would go home in the end.

“Have we agreed to eat Chongqing food?” she asked, leaning on the cushion in front of her with her arms.

“The same goes for eating at home.”

Liar.Qin Qing murmured quietly in his heart, then looked at the car outside without saying anything.

When the two returned home, dinner was not ready yet.

With sharp eyes, Qin Qing saw a gardener planting flowers in the garden and ran out excitedly, saying that he wanted to learn a few tricks secretly.

Of course Gu Shaoming would not stop her and let her go.

While I was reading the financial news at home, the housekeeper came in with a courier bag.

“Mr. Gu, there is a courier here, but the packaging is a bit damaged. I don’t know if the contents inside are damaged,” the housekeeper said.

“Bring it to me and see.”

Gu Shaoming took the express delivery and saw Qin Qing’s name written on it. The bag was half broken, revealing half of the book.

    “Who mailed this to her?”

Gu Shaoming stood up and wanted to call Qin Qing, but as soon as he stood up and raised the express bag, a postcard fell out of it.

Gu Shaoming wanted to pick it up and put it back, but he looked sharply at the small regular script written on it.
