    104. Rise in the wind

What Lin Tu finally got was a tripartite agreement.

A female investor named Hu Pan invested in the movie “The Thrilling Lover” and starring Ling Chu’s award-winning behavior at the Cannes Film Festival, and appointed a little-known small company to carry out all public relations activities.

What she is asking for is a 25% dividend from the box office revenue after the film wins. If the prize attempt fails, then all the expenses incurred in the public relations will be borne by herself, without any further compensation from Lin Tu and the film’s creators.

Nowadays, movie profits are almost no longer linked to box office, and more investment returns come from the sale of distribution rights and broadcast rights in the later stages of the movie.

Hu Gan only asked for 25% of the box office revenue as a return on his investment. In Lin Tu’s eyes, this was almost like giving money to help them win the prize.

She thought about the joints carefully, and then sent someone to investigate the background of the designated small company. It turned out that things were just as she had guessed. This was suspected to be a money laundering disguised as an investment.

Although this kind of transaction is not uncommon in the entertainment industry, Lin Tu took this prize competition very seriously, so after thinking carefully, she decided to go to Fang Wenlin to find out the details about Hu Dan.

After hearing Lin Tu’s tentative question, Fang Wenlin couldn’t help but be amused by her caution.

He looked at Lin Tu with admiration. It was rare for a young man to have such a thoughtful mind as her, but Hu Shi was not what she thought.

he said with relief, “If you plan to handle the award-winning public relations for the Cannes Film Festival on your own, I suggest you trust Hu. She is more powerful than any public relations company in the country. As long as she takes action, your chances of getting nominated are more than half.”

Lin Tu opened his eyes in disbelief.

There is a 50% chance of nomination. Even the public relations department of ACE Company dare not guarantee this number.

It does not mean that being nominated at the Cannes Film Festival will definitely win an award, but just getting nominated will probably exhaust all the ways and means of ACE.

Lin Tu took a deep breath and looked seriously into Fang Wenlin’s eyes.

    “Are you serious?”

Fang Wenlin smiled gently, nodded, and said teasingly, “It’s better than relying on others, right?”

Lin Tu didn’t know whether it was because of Wen Lin’s gratitude and trust or because he was moved by his last joke. After she re-listed the pros and cons of trusting Hu and rejecting Hu, she resolutely chose to believe her.

Things are indeed as Fang Wenlin said.

She cannot count on the resources of ACE Company, but it is better to believe in nonsense than rely on others.

Fang Suozheng, who still didn’t know that he had lost his heart, opened and closed the laptop in front of him with some anxiety.

On the third day after losing contact with Lin Tu, he felt as if a piece of his heart was missing. This incompleteness made him extremely depressed. The pattern comes from N2qQ~

The situation was imminent, but Lin Tu, who was determined to win the prize, never contacted him again.

Fang Zao has privately speculated on countless possibilities, but his algorithm cannot really determine the development direction of the matter.

Yu Siren, who noticed that he was in a bad mood, was still busy in the company with a smile on his face all day long like a normal person.

Fang Suo didn’t take the initiative to mention Lin Tu, so the Yu Si people pretended that there was no such person.

This made Fang Suo, who was already going crazy with his pride, even more irritated.

He didn’t understand why he was always the one compromising when facing Lin Tu.

Whether it was the first time I was harassed by her in a hotel or the subsequent rejection by her after courtship.

He put down his self-esteem time and time again, breaking through his bottom line again and again to compromise with her, thinking that he could earn his status in Lin Tu’s heart in this way.

But when he asked Lin Tu what she thought he was, all he got was Lin Tu’s silence.

Fang Suo closed his eyes reluctantly and leaned on the office chair tiredly.

The new secretary pushed open the door and said businesslikely, “Mr. Fang, you have a conference call to attend at 2:30 in the afternoon. You can start preparing now.”

Fang Suo’s faint voice came from the seat.

“Cancel the meeting, I have to go out temporarily for something.”

The secretary, who was still looking through Fang Suo’s schedule, paused and immediately said respectfully, “Okay, I understand. I will adjust your schedule right away.”
