    Chapter Index

Pei Yu sat on the chair and rested for a while.

Because he didn’t have a few bites of dinner, the high-intensity physical and mental activities made him tired and hungry at the moment – wouldn’t it ruin his image if he didn’t perform well in his mother’s bed?

He struggled for a while and decided to go to the kitchen to make something to fill his stomach.

He stretched his body and lazily walked to the kitchen in his slippers, but unexpectedly found that the kitchen light was on.

    “Mom…?” Pei Yu called tentatively.

Mo Jie responded and came out with a bowl of egg noodles. He smiled knowingly and said, “I guessed you must be hungry, so I cooked noodles for you.”

“Oh…thank you, mom.” Pei Yu happily took the bowls and chopsticks.

Although Mo Jie is not very particular about cooking and doesn’t have any tricks. He usually either makes fried rice or boils noodles, but everything he cooks is delicious.

When he was in high school, what he looked forward to most after each evening self-study was to go home and eat the noodles cooked by his mother. It was so hot that it would warm his heart all the way from his stomach to his heart. When he was a child, he didn’t know how to cook, and neither did his father. The two people who had no ability to eat usually ate in restaurants and ordered takeout, so he had never eaten home-cooked meals, even a simple bowl of egg noodles.

“Don’t say thank you, you look so unfamiliar.” Mojie held his chin and looked at he and said, “You are still growing, and you are not allowed to skip dinner casually in the future.”

He had a refreshing short haircut in high school, but now his hair is slightly longer, fluffy and soft, and his thin black bangs make his whole person’s temperament much gentler.

The more Mo Jie watched, the more she liked him. She felt that she had never seen such a delicate boy, even on TV.

Pei Yu was startled when he heard this and said doubtfully: “Mom… you taught me before that even parents should remember to say thank you and sorry. You can’t forget the most basic etiquette just because you are a relative. Nothing in this world is taken for granted.”

Mo Jie was embarrassed for a moment, opened his mouth, then lowered his head and muttered in a low voice: “I was very familiar with you at that time…and my mother taught me this way since I was a child…”

“Oh… so mom is very familiar with me now?” Pei Yu asked with a half-smile, which was meaningful.

The pleasant ending of “he” rose slightly and gradually dissipated in the aroma of food filling the room. Mo Jie blushed all of a sudden.

“Xiao Yu… I didn’t think carefully about what I said before.” Mo Jie recited the words he had typed out several times, “I know I didn’t respect your thoughts and it was my fault… but I really didn’t mean to take advantage of you.”

Pei Yu took a bite of the egg and listened quietly to her.Originally, he wanted to interrupt her directly and tell her that the matter was over, but then he thought that she must have been struggling with these words. If she was not allowed to say it, wouldn’t her efforts be in vain?It really hurts to think about it.

“I do want to have a baby, but it’s not what you said…” Mo Jie looked at He seriously, and after a long period of mental construction, he spoke frankly about his true thoughts, “I just… just… I just really want to kiss you, have sex with you, want to be ejaculated by you, marry you, have a baby with you, and raise the baby with you, and then we can teach the baby to continue studying physics together!”

As soon as Pei Yu took a sip of the soup, he choked and coughed violently.

Mo Jie quickly took out a tissue and handed it to him: “Drink slowly, is it hot?”

Pei Yu lowered his head and took the tissue, his ears burning like fire.

“Mom, you…don’t be so straightforward.” Pei Yu was completely convinced again. He thought that Professor Mo had been thinking for so long about what earth-shattering words he could say to coax him. He was really overthinking.
