    Chapter Index

Shen Shuman handed the selected underwear and pajamas to the shopping guide and asked her to take them to the cashier first. She wanted to see if there was anything else she wanted to buy.

The shopping guide happily caught it. As soon as he reached the checkout counter, he put a pajama on his arm when another hand appeared out of thin air and took it away.

“If you don’t want this one, change it to this one.” Wei Shi said, putting the suspender nightgown he just picked out on the checkout counter.

The shopping guide was stunned for a few seconds, succumbing to the majestic pressure that was constantly emanating from the inside out. She silently followed his instructions and changed through the underwear and pajamas that Shen Shuman picked.

Shen Shuman walked around but couldn’t find what he wanted, so he went to the cashier.

Ji Ji had already paid and was waiting there with four or five shopping bags.

Just when the two were less than two meters apart, the woman in OL’s clothes came in. She asked the shopping guide to help her pay the bill, while turning her back to Shen Shuman, winking at the critical moment and making secret glances.

At the critical moment, he frowned irritably, walked away from her, and walked towards Shen Shuman. He opened his thin lips and said coldly: “If you have eye problems, go see an ophthalmologist.”

The volume was not loud during the crisis, but everyone present heard it clearly.

The woman looked stunned, obviously not expecting to hit a snag with him.

She stamped her feet, her high heels making a clanging sound on the floor, “You! You’re a stallion who always gets into heat everywhere! Don’t go too far!”

“Huh?” Before Shen Shuman could realize what happened, he was grabbed by the wrist and walked out of the underwear store.

“Why did you suddenly say there was something wrong with her? That made her scold you like that…” Shen Shuman asked him in a low voice, recalling what had just happened.

He plausibly said: “As a doctor, I found that she blinked frequently, which may be eye diseases such as dry eye, trichiasis, and conjunctivitis, so I advised her to see a doctor. Is this a problem?”

He sighed and muttered slightly depressedly: “Who knew she would actually scold me… It’s true that a dog bites Lu Dongbin and doesn’t know a good heart.”

Although Shen Shuman always felt that something was wrong, she didn’t hear anything wrong, so she didn’t go into details. She just said, “Then you should be more careful next time. She must have misunderstood that you scolded her, so she said that…”

The two took the elevator and went down to the parking garage. It was already close to 22:00 at night.

I opened the car door at the critical moment and was about to get into the driver’s seat when I suddenly remembered what the woman said about “running water” and then I thought about how she had pulled his sleeve with her hand…

He’s face turned pale instantly, and as soon as he closed the car door, he couldn’t wait to unbutton his shirt.

Shen Shuman stared at him dumbfounded. Seeing that he was about to take off the entire shirt, she hurriedly grabbed his wrist.

“What are you doing? Take off your clothes as soon as you get in the car…” She suddenly paused and raised her head to look into He’s eyes that were as bright as stars.

In the small, closed and quiet space, the sound of her swallowing saliva was a bit loud.

As if she was being burned, she immediately retracted her hand, crossed her arms and covered her chest, looking at he warily, with a defensive and uncompromising attitude, “Didn’t I tell you not to do this outside?”

He raised his eyebrows when he was in danger, looking at her as if he were a mentally retarded person.

    The atmosphere suddenly became awkward.

The look in his eyes was so contemptuous that Shen Shuman couldn’t help but wonder if she had overestimated her own charm.

“Do you think I want to play car shakes with you?” he said, breaking the awkward silence that made people scratch their toes.

Shen Shuman watched helplessly as he took off his shirt, exposing his muscular body. His fair skin seemed to emit a faint white light under the pale lights of the parking lot.

She shrank her shoulders timidly and tried to defend herself: “I didn’t say that, don’t accuse me unjustly…”
