Chapter 61: How do you look like me?

“You said you wouldn’t leave me, you can’t go back on your word…” The little girl’s eyes were red from crying, and her cheeks were as red as blood. She whispered: “Not to mention you… you obviously…”

    Zhong Yi frowned, “Obviously what?”

She tilted her head and said nothing.

    He said quietly, “Say it…”

She raised her head, her eyes full of determination, “You obviously have feelings for me, but that night you…”

“That night?” He interrupted her sharply, but then asked lightly: “Is that why you insist that I will accompany you to go crazy?”

    She froze in place.

“Xiao Xi, you probably don’t understand men…”

The man’s hot body pressed forward, and his lips touched her white and tender earlobes. It was laughter, but every word he spoke was wrapped in strong sarcasm.

“In that situation, if it were not you but any other woman, I would probably react the same way.”

He took her earlobe in his mouth, sucked hard, and felt the little girl tremble all over with satisfaction.

“Besides, no man can refuse a woman who throws herself into his arms…”

Doubao’s face turned pale, and the blood seemed to be drained out in a second. His sharp teeth sank into his lips, biting them bright red, “I don’t believe it…”

She said: “I don’t believe you are treating me…”

Zhong Yi raised his thick eyebrows and opened his lips to say something. The little girl looked stunned and casually wiped the tears on her face, pushed his body away fiercely, opened the door and ran out.

Her breath left quickly and disappeared in the blink of an eye.

The man’s eyebrows drooped and his body slowly leaned against the wall. An unknown irritability surged in his heart. Strong depression spread throughout his body, and his whole person seemed to be shrouded in haze.

A figure appeared in front of the door. After standing there for a moment, he lowered his body and picked something up. After a while, he slowly spoke.

“It’s not like you to make such a fuss.”

Zhong Yi smiled bitterly, “How can you look like me?”

Gu Xiyuan walked in, showed him the strawberry candy in his palm, and asked with a smile, “Is this why Boss Zhong, who doesn’t like sweets, eats candy like crazy?”

Zhong Yi lowered his head and glanced at the familiar wrapping paper, the bitterness at the corner of his mouth gradually deepened.

    That candy is hers.

It is a candy specially customized by Zhong Yi for her low blood sugar. She likes the strawberry flavor, which is sweet and sour.

He hated sweets, but after sending her away, he became obsessed with the sweet taste. It was like being poisoned by poppy. Once he tasted it, he could never stop eating it.

    Like sugar.

    Also like people.

    Zhong Yi smiled to himself.

    Who is going crazy?

Song Tingyan’s car was parked downstairs in the apartment where Doubao lived. Just as he was about to pick up his cell phone to make a call, the screen lit up first.

    “Teacher.”

The voice on that end was soft, but a little hoarse.

He got out of the car in a hurry, looked upstairs, and asked her, “What’s wrong with the sound?”

Doubao’s house was on the fourth floor. The slim figure of the little woman on the balcony fell into his eyes. When she saw him looking up, she raised her hand towards him.

    “It’s okay.”

“Doubao…” She started, her nose sore again, “I’ve known her for so long, and this is the first time I’ve seen her cry so sadly…”

She found Beanbao on the street who was crying uncontrollably. The small lump was curled up, his head buried between his legs, and his body was twitching hard.

“Bean bag…” She bent down and patted her trembling shoulders.

The villain slowly raised his head to look at her. Su Ying’s heart sank when she saw the tearful face still streaming down her face. She knelt down, touched the villain’s head, and said softly, “Stop crying.”

Doubao tried his best to suppress his tears, but as soon as he took a breath, he turned around and hugged Su Ying, burying himself in her neck and crying harder.

He muttered: “I hate my uncle…Cherry…wuwuwu…I hate him so much…”

Su Ying didn’t know how to comfort her because of her meaningless words, so she could only pat her on the back soothingly and let her vent her emotions freely.

Later, she pulled the exhausted crying man into a taxi. The bean bag leaned crookedly on her shoulder. Her pink eyelids were slightly swollen, and tears were still dripping from the corners of her eyes.

Su Ying has known her since high school. This is the first time that Su Ying realizes that she also has a vulnerable side.

Doubao has a warm and sunny temperament. He is like a shining little sun all the time, easily infecting everyone around him.

    Of course, that includes her.

“She has been trying her best to tease me and take care of all my emotions, but I don’t know anything, and I always make trouble with her.”

Su Ying turned around and looked in. The little man who was tired of crying had already fallen asleep on the sofa.

    “Teacher,” she whispered.

    “Yeah.”

“She is such a cheerful and laughing person, but there are times when she is unhappy…” Su Ying lowered her head, feeling a little frustrated, “Am I an incompetent friend?”

“I enjoy her good things to my heart’s content, but I never care about her sadness…”

“If she wanted to hide it from you, how could she let you know.” Song Ting’s clear voice penetrated the current, like a cool breeze, blowing away her uneasiness little by little.

“Cherry, everyone has things that are difficult to tell. If you tell them, it won’t be called a secret.”

Su Ying nodded obediently, then asked, “Do you have a secret too?”

“Yes.” He said in a sincere tone, “But if you want to know, I’m willing to tell you.”

She quipped, “I don’t want to know.”

The man also smiled. The street lights on the street were dim and couldn’t illuminate his face clearly. He could only see his general outline, but his eyes were breathtakingly bright and clear.

The interlaced air currents in the air slowly brought a layer of warmth.

Song Tingyan’s words slid down his throat, and the crisp swallowing sound made the little woman blush.

    “Come down?” he asked hoarsely.

    She whispered softly: “No.”

    “Huh?”

“It’s dangerous to go down…” Her voice was delicate and soft, “You will definitely eat me up.”

The man laughed: “Do you think you can escape?”

She whispered: “Well… I want to stay here with Doubao tonight…”

    “Then what should I do?”

Su Ying was surprised that there was a hint of childishness in the man’s words, like a child having a tantrum.

“Tomorrow…” she said softly, “tomorrow I will go to the office to find you…”

The man’s lower abdomen was tense and his eyes were hot, “Why are you looking for me?”

She bit her lip shyly, “Can I ask the teacher to make up lessons…?”

“Of course.” The man smiled, “I’ll wait for you.”
