    Chapter Index

A woman disguises herself as a prince and a man disguises himself as a concubine [Twenty]

    It’s half a month again.

The news of the marriage has not yet spread, but Li Xin’s rare vacation is about to end.

She was about to continue going to the court the next day. She sighed and gently rubbed her finally relaxed chest, feeling a little worried about her body.

What should I do if my breasts are deformed?

    But now, life still matters.

The spring rain lingers endlessly, and it will come again every two or three days, and it is the same today.

Li Xin climbed onto the table and reached out to catch the raindrops outside.

It wasn’t that she was panicking for nothing, but the palace was stuffy and she didn’t want to go out dressed like a man, so no one was allowed to enter the palace.

The two concubines asked to see each other several times, but were rejected.

She could only breathe through this window.

Waterdrops dripped on the palm of her hand, which was cool. Li Xin twisted a handkerchief, stuffed a soft pad behind her waist, covered her face with the handkerchief, and leaned against the window sill, squinting her eyes and falling asleep.

The sound of raindrops was heard, and it was quiet and peaceful.

This is a high-quality lullaby. As Li Xin listened to it, she pretended to be asleep but actually felt a little sleepy. She tilted her head unconsciously and became confused.

But she forgot that she was leaning on the window sill.

With that thin layer on the edge, she fell into a deep sleep, and her whole body fell down, directly over the window sill, and almost fell out.

Fortunately, just when she was about to fall out, a hand stretched out from the side and held her body, stabilizing her.

Li Xin woke up with a start. The wet handkerchief was still covering her face, and it was sliding downwards. She almost held it down, revealing one pair of eyes, covering half of her face.

“Little palace maid, you will have to thank me nicely this time.”

A slightly familiar male voice sounded in Li Xin’s ears. She opened her eyes wide and saw a ferocious ghost face.

She covered her face and her voice was muffled:

    “Why you again?”

This man was so elusive that he came and went freely in the palace. She wouldn’t believe him if he really didn’t have a powerful identity.

The masked man straightened her up:

“If it weren’t for me, if you fell, your head would be blown.”

As he spoke, he picked up the flute and struck it on the top of her head.

Li Xin subconsciously wanted to touch her head, but when she raised it halfway, she remembered the veil on her face, stopped in a hurry, and continued to cover it tightly.

“You are a grown man, but you attack a woman. It is an insult to gentlemen.”

    She talks tough.

    The masked man chuckled:

“Then why don’t you say I saved your life?”

Li Xin rolled her eyes, because her eyes were deep and black, and the water was full of color. She looked particularly smart at this moment, like a cunning little fox.

“It’s one thing for you to save me, it’s another thing for you to hit me. If you insist on counting them together, then the two will cancel each other out.”

As he said that, he was about to climb down from the window.

The masked man noticed her movements, turned the flute, stood in front of her, and pressed her against the small corner:

“Looking at it this way, it’s me who’s losing.”

He came closer, his voice low.

Although Li Xin was not afraid of his mask, she always felt uncomfortable with the bright colors.

Then he turned his head and said:

“Then you make amends with me and I thank you.”

The masked man hesitated for a moment, seeming to consider.

Li Xin shrank down, and even if she covered her mouth and nose with a handkerchief, she could still smell a faint, light fragrance.

    She remembered the smell.

“Just talking about it is meaningless.”

The masked figure seemed to have thought of something and pulled the flute back.

“We have to have a lucky draw.”

    Li Xin was stunned:

    “Lottery?”

The masked man pointed at Supa on her face:

    “Take off the veil.”

Oh, are you here for her?

Li Xin cannot give up easily:

    “Then take off the mask!”
