Weak master x violent snake king [52]

“Can I go take a look?”

Li Xin looked at him expectantly.

Her pupils were a very beautiful silver upon closer inspection. When she stared into Lanke’s eyes, there seemed to be some kind of confusing magic power that made him unable to say the word “no”.

    “Of course.”

    He readily agreed.

The library was not open to outsiders, but as a student of the college, it was not a big problem for him to take a girl in for a look.

Like most colleges, students here are divided into practical and theoretical categories. Some students majoring in spiritual power often come to the library to read books.

Lan Ke took Li Xin and walked in.

The library has more than thirty floors, and the stairs spiral upward. Looking around, the field of vision is filled with densely packed books of various colors, which is really impressive.

Li Xin pretended to be amazed and praised her. When Lan Ke’s vigilance dropped to the lowest level, she seemed to say unintentionally:

“This is my first time coming to the Mofeng Mountains. Are there any legends or stories about this place? I mean the books.”

Her request was not excessive, because for the academy, what was truly precious were the books used for cultivation. These customs and customs were no different from ordinary books.

Lan Ke breathed a sigh of relief, and the smile on his face gradually deepened:

“Yes, I remember it’s on the third floor. Come with me.”

If Li Xin said she wanted to read other books, he would really doubt her purpose. Now it seems that she is really just curious.

The two people walked up to the third floor, and Lan Ke pointed at the entire wall of books:

    “This is it.”

Li Xin thanked him and walked slowly along the first row.

What she was looking for was a book with a pure black cover. There was a sandwich page in the book with a map hidden inside.

The final direction pointed by the map is the “fang” of the abyss, which is the second fragment of his consciousness.

Because when the two arrived at the Mofeng Mountains, Abyss suddenly found that he could no longer sense the existence of the fragments. This map was left by the person who sealed him in the first place.

As for why he sealed Abyss and told him how to unlock it, in fact, Abyss himself had not figured it out until now.

Li Xin thought more, she just felt that the person’s ultimate goal must not be simple.

But for now, we can only help Abyss, who is anxious to get angry, to unlock the seal first.

Lan Ke did not go with her, but came to the other side of the book wall, where he could see her soft face through the occasional gap.

Fragments of light fell on her face through the skylight, pure and beautiful.

Just as Lan Ke was obsessed with it, Li Xin’s face was suddenly obscured by a black shadow.

Lan Ke looked at it blankly and found that it was the shadow of the bookshelf.

But…were the bookshelves so tall before?

On this side, Abyss took action to block Lanke’s sight.

He leaned on the bookshelf, folded his hands on his chest, and still had the familiar, contemptuous sneer on his face:

“It’s just a matter of finding a book. It’s really a stupid human being to waste so much effort.”

Li Xin is now completely immune to his poisonous tongue attack, and she doesn’t even bother to raise her head when she hears this:

“You have that spare time, why not help find books,”

As she spoke, she straightened up and glanced sideways at him.

    “Also, stop blocking him, childish.”

Do you really think she doesn’t know why he stood there on purpose?

    Abyss: “…”

His expression froze, as if something had struck his mind, and he said angrily:

    “Idiot! I’m just resting!”

Li Xin chuckled, smiling but not smiling:

“You found a good place to rest on the bookshelf.”
