    Chapter Index

Vidal changed his fork, silently picked up the food on the plate and put it into his mouth.

He actually had no appetite, but he didn’t want Todd to see that something was wrong with him, so he put food into his mouth numbly and almost mechanically.

He’s thoughts now are simply a mess.

    “Vidal, aren’t you surprised?”

Todd was shocked by his calmness,

“You don’t want to have a perfect offspring?”

Vidal swallowed the food in his mouth and looked at him coldly:

“Want a descendant with countless brothers, sisters and fathers? You want that, but I don’t.”

As long as he thinks about the pain she will suffer, he can’t stop being angry.

He doesn’t understand what “for everyone” means. His parents are dead because of this damn “let more people live”.

Vidal’s words obviously hit some of Todd’s pain points. He’s face turned blue, and his originally relaxed expression became serious.

A partner is also sacred in a sense.

Although he has changed many partners, he has never dated two at the same time, and his partner certainly will not do this.

    But…

    “It’s a really vexing choice.”

Todd muttered, pouring himself another glass of wine.

Vidal quickly finished the food on the plate, ignored Todd and Dylan’s attempts to stay, stood up, called Li Xin, and left the hall under the eyes of many people.

Before Li Xin could finish inquiring, he was half dragged out.

    “Leopard, what’s wrong with you?”

She frowned and struggled in his shackles.

She knew that Todd and Vidal had said something, but she didn’t hear it clearly, so she couldn’t understand his sudden anger.

Vidal took her to a secluded corner.

He found a corner and dragged her in.

“Tell me, where are your parents?”

His pupils glowed with bright green light in the dark night,

“Are your parents among those degenerate people?”

Li Xin did not expect that he would ask such a question. She was strangely silent for a while and lowered her eyelids:

    “I don’t have parents.”

    Yes, no.

Vidal’s pupils shrank violently, and Li Xin’s words confirmed his suspicion. He let go of her shoulders and ruffled his hair irritably.

Such a tall man huddled his back, which actually made Li Xin feel a little pitiful.

The big cat seemed aggrieved and angry.

She thought for a moment, then walked over on tiptoes, got behind he, and put her arms around his shoulders:

“What are you afraid of? Does it have to do with my parents?”

She rubbed the disobedient animal ears that popped out of his head.

The feel is as good as ever.

    Vidal’s voice was dull:

    “I’m not afraid.”

he is just not willing to give in.

Li Xin didn’t understand. She tilted her little head and leaned on He’s shoulder, saying softly and coquettishly:

    “You are dishonest~”

    She poked He’s stiff chest,

    “I can tell you’re lying.”

    Vidal took her wrist.

He turned around, his eyes were so bright and frightening that for a moment, she was stunned and didn’t know how to react.

    “You won’t be that person,”

    he murmured,

    “You shouldn’t be that person.”

Li Xin was confused after hearing this, and couldn’t help but asked curiously:

    “Who… is that person?”

Vidal did not answer, he just stared at her deeply for a long time, then suddenly opened his arms and pulled the petite Li Xin into his arms.

    Intimacy.

The hot body temperature enveloped her cool skin, and the undulating and powerful heartbeat beat into her body one after another.

    Hmm…

    Leopard hug?

Gen: Maybe Ah Xin is an expert at destroying the atmosphere?
