    Chapter Index

Leon lowered his head and closed his eyes.

Orr half-knelt down beside him. The great wizard came to the sarcophagus, cut Li Xin’s finger, dipped her blood, and smeared it on the magic circle of the altar.

Immediately afterwards, he gathered his strength and began to chant the sacrificial incantation.

The low-pitched old voice lingered in this empty land, and with the brilliance of the magic circle flowing, the surrounding air gradually changed.

The burning of the fire, the faint smell of burnt fish.

Leon’s eyebrows were tightened, and his chest felt heavy as if he was being firmly suppressed. He clenched his fists and used all his strength to resist this overwhelming pressure.

The great wizard coughed out a mouthful of blood and knelt on the ground with his rickety body shaking.

Orr was not much better either. His face was pale and he could only bend down deeply with his forehead close to the ground.

The whole body was filled with a strong smell of blood.

Leon felt the stickiness under his hands and couldn’t help but open his eyes a little.

    this……!

The sticky blood snaked across the stone-paved ground, enveloping the dust, getting into the gaps, and soaking the ground under his feet.

He suddenly raised his head and looked in front of him.

The great wizard almost turned into a gourd of blood. He fell to the ground, his body shriveled up, as if something had drained all the blood out of his body, leaving only a layer of skin of flesh and blood.

    Al shouted:

    “Lower your head!”

But Leon was stiff, staring almost blankly at the stalwart figure who appeared in front of him at some unknown time.

“Aldom, have you brought my sacrifice?”

Asmodeus’s deep voice sounded like thunder exploding above Al’s head.

he swallowed the sweet taste in his mouth with difficulty and said with trembling:

“Yes, yes, I have brought you a pure soul, and I ask for your forgiveness.”

Asmodeus’s eyes fell on the sarcophagus.

Leon was a little afraid to look directly at the karma around him, and he began to panic for no reason, with a vague premonition of something bad.

    “Very well, Aldom.”

He raised his hand slightly, and Li Xin’s body slowly floated in mid-air.

She tilted her head, not knowing what was about to happen.

    Asmodeus narrowed his eyes:

    “Aldom, contract.”

Al didn’t dare to disobey, so he quickly took out a simple and old piece of kraft paper from his arms, held it in both hands, and raised it respectfully above his head:

    “Please take a look.”

The contract fell into Asmodeus’s palm, and he clenched it tightly. Then, a pale golden pearl suddenly appeared in front of him.

The pearl is dizzy and the brilliance is flowing.

Al and Leon looked at it dreamily, knowing in their hearts that this was the inheritance of the beast god they had been looking for.

With it, you can have supreme power.

Al couldn’t help but stretched out his hand:

    “Oh, thank you…”

Just when he was about to touch the pearl, Li Xin, who was originally calm and suspended in the air like a dead body, suddenly jumped up.

She grabbed the rotating pearl, lightly used its strength on the sarcophagus, and landed quietly on the ground.

Al and Leon looked at her with wide eyes and disbelief.

Especially Orr, after all, the inheritance of power was once only a fingertip away from him.

Li Xin held the pearl tightly in her hand:

“Is this what it turns out to be?”

She curled her lips and smiled,

“Is this the inherited power you want, which is to persecute my mother and me and betray the entire orc clan?”

Under such circumstances, Orr could no longer pretend, and directly tore the mask apart, roaring with splitting eyes:

    “You damn, filthy bastard!!!!”

Gen: Originally, the next world was decided by my brother-in-law, but Gen has a new wall. I’m afraid, so I’d better vote again tonight_(:з」∠)_
