    56. You have touched my bottom line

“Are you feeling uncomfortable anywhere else?”

The man’s voice is deep and magnetic. Even if it is cold, it can make a woman’s heart feel hot, like taking a sip of strong wine.

Ji Changgu sat down on the chair beside the hospital bed. He had a handsome face and was meticulously buttoned. The low-key and expensive suit fabric had no wrinkles at all, and the seams were tightly fitted, making his body upright and perfect, and his cold and ascetic air was natural.

With a faint look, the smell of male hormones hit his face.

Yu Jinzhi’s pale face turned red quietly, and her little hands clenched into a ball under the quilt.

It’s been a long, long time since I heard he care about her.

“Better than yesterday, just a little cold.”

Ji Changgu called the nurse to put a quilt on her.

Yu Jinzhi was a little disappointed. She wanted him to tuck the quilt for her.

Then she saw a man pouring a glass of water for her. It was warm. She took the water, her heart was pounding, and she pursed the corners of her lips that were about to turn up.

He is still so careful. Sure enough, he has not forgotten himself.

    “Sister-in-law, is she okay?”

Yu Jinzhi asked tentatively, observing his expression.

Ji Changgu thought of the girl huddled up before leaving, and frowned, “She’s fine.”

Is everything okay? How could it be possible that everything is okay? Hasn’t the fake identity been exposed?

However, seeing how he frowned just now, he must be getting tired of that woman.

Yu Jinzhi was secretly happy, sipped her saliva, and said softly, “I don’t know why, sister-in-law, she can.”

    “Why did you commit suicide?”

It was like a thunder on the ground, and Yu Jinzhi almost thought he was hallucinating.

    “What?”

Ji Changgu handed a report to her, “The test results are out, and there are only your fingerprints on the murder weapon.” He paused calmly, “Why did you commit suicide? There was a problem with the company at home? Did my second uncle threaten you? Or, because I rejected you?”

His tone was as calm as he was explaining the contract plan.

Yu Jinzhi saw the report in his hand clearly and panicked, “I’m not going to commit suicide, I’m not my sister-in-law.”

Impossible, she obviously wiped the fingerprints off the knife.

He slowly opened his lips, “That’s not what you said when you took the confession.”

    Yu Jinzhi was shocked.

The man’s eyes fell quietly on her, the duller, the sharper.

“You said you didn’t know who attacked you, and when you woke up you saw Ye Pianpian’s hands stained with blood.”

“I’m sorry, I saw that everyone said she was the murderer, so I”

“There is no murder weapon on her hand, and I have no grievances against you. When you saw blood on her hand, why was your first reaction not to save you, but to kill you?”

“I” Yu Jinzhi bit her lip and was about to cry, “Brother Chang Gu, don’t you believe me? I know you don’t believe that your sister-in-law would do such a thing, but her knife was stuck in my body. If it weren’t for that knife, I wouldn’t believe it.”

    “The knife is indeed elegant.”

Before Yu Jinzhi could breathe a sigh of relief, the man added, “However, the police did not announce the owner of the knife. This kind of folding knife is very common. The six guests present and one waiter all carried it in their bags.” His indifferent black eyes stared at her, releasing invisible pressure, “How do you know that the knife must be Pianpian?”

    Yu Jinzhi’s face turned pale.

Brother Chang Gu’s logic has always been meticulous, but she was too careless and was caught in a loophole!

Her heart was like beating a drum, and a trace of sweat appeared on her back.

He didn’t speak, just looked at her quietly, like a patient listener.

“Chang Gu brother Yu Jinzhi is looking down

He shook his head and his voice was filled with tears, “I’m sorry, I was afraid that you would be sad, so I didn’t tell the truth. I was in a bad mood because of breaking up with you, and I happened to be feeling unwell that day. I couldn’t think about it. I didn’t expect that my sister-in-law was also in the lounge. She stopped me and said that I was willing to die for you to embarrass a woman. She said that she didn’t like you and would leave sooner or later. I wanted to give you back. I was so angry that I started arguing with her, and the knife was inserted into my leg during the argument.”

Yu Jinzhi noticed the emotional state of she and Ji Changgu while chatting with Shen Lingzhi on QQ. Coupled with the fact that the private detective filmed the intimate outing between her and Fu Jingxing, she was sure that Shen Lingzhi was the dominant one in this relationship.

The loved one is always more confident.

That woman is just a butterfly that messes with men everywhere!

She quietly raised her eyes and glanced at Ji Changgu. Those deep eyes did not look calm just now, as if there was an undercurrent surging.

    Guessed it.

Yu Jinzhi was both happy and jealous.

However, in just one second, Ji Changgu once again maintained an impenetrable calm demeanor and called Liang Zhi in.

    “Has the conversation been recorded?”

Liang Zhi nodded, “I’ll miss every word.”

Yu Jinzhi was stunned, “What, what are you talking about?

Liang Zhi took out a rose from the vase on the bedside, and there was a silver button-sized eavesdropping device lying in the stamen.

This bouquet of roses was brought in by Ji Changgu’s order.

Yu Jinzhi trembled his lips, “Brother Chang Gu, what do you mean?”

He still said in a calm tone, “There are no fingerprints on the knife. This report is forged.”

Yu Jin’s heart skipped a beat, and her whole body felt like it had fallen into a cold kiln.

It turns out that he didn’t believe her in the first place. He was lying and he was setting a trap for her to jump into.

“You have one last chance to tell the truth. If you tell the truth, you may be able to get a reduced sentence.”

Ji Changgu stood up and elaborated the cruelest words in a charming voice.

Yu Jinzhi was shocked and immediately grabbed the hem of He’s clothes, “Brother Chang Gu, I admit that I was wrong. I shouldn’t have falsely accused Ye Pianpian, but ask yourself, are you right? You were clearly engaged to me at the beginning, but you never treated me as a fiancée. You may not have used as many expressions towards me as you did to an important customer. But you are so enthusiastic towards Ye Pianpian. Do you know how uncomfortable I am, sheNot even your fiancée, why?

“You are dissatisfied with me. You broke off the engagement with me and found a new love. You have got what you want.”

“I want you to face my existence! You clearly promised my father to take care of me, you”

A low laugh suddenly escaped from the man’s throat, and he turned to look at her, “Maybe you didn’t know it when you were a child, but I believe your father must have told you before he passed away why I was engaged to you.”

He’s eyes were so cold that Yu Jinzhi panicked and subconsciously let go of the corner of He’s clothes.

“He secretly colluded with my second uncle, put me in danger many times, and pretended to rescue me at the last moment, which made me grateful to him and repay him. The reward he wants is to marry you.”

    Yu Jinzhi’s mind exploded.

He knows, he actually knows everything.

“That matter essentially has nothing to do with you. I’m taking care of you, but because your father has helped me. But now you have touched my bottom line.” The man’s eyebrows were cold, “I will give you the last choice, go to jail, or leave here forever.”

    Yu Jinzhi’s tears fell heavily.

She knows that she can no longer win back his heart. No, from the beginning, his heart was not with her.

He is not cold-hearted, but he is affectionate, never towards her.

At four o’clock in the morning, the black Maybach parked in front of the police station.

The car had already stalled, and Ji Changgu sat there for five minutes before opening the door.

He was supposed to go back to the company, but he didn’t expect that he would unknowingly change direction and come here.

It’s only been a day, but he can’t hold it anymore.
