    Chapter Index

    23. Do you have to do this?

The man straightened up and helped the shy little woman up.

    “Would you like some water?”

Without waiting for her answer, he walked towards the kitchen on his own.

But his palm was held by a pair of soft little hands. He turned around and looked at her straight without saying anything.

    Silent inquiry.

“The answer you just said…” She enunciated the words accurately, with a hint of expectation in her eyes, “Is that what I meant?”

The man was silent for two seconds, then smiled.

Didn’t say yes, didn’t say no.

She was inexplicably discouraged and began to laugh secretly at herself for wanting to find some answer from him.

She, Su Ying, has always had a clear distinction between love and hate. There have always been two extremes: like and dislike.

When she fell in love with someone for the first time, she didn’t know any brilliant flirting skills, nor did she know how reserved and dignified a girl should be. She would only follow her most primitive desires to express her feelings.

But she was obviously no match for Song Tingyan, and she was not even qualified to play the game.

He could see through all her thoughts without much effort. As for whether he should cater to her little thoughts, it all depended on his mood.

And this kind of hot and cold, ambiguous attitude and distance made her always have uncontrollable thoughts.

Just like the kiss just now, she could clearly see the red desire surging in his eyes.

But what she didn’t understand was why he had to restrain himself

If you like it, let’s be together.

    If you don’t like it.

    Oh.

She had never thought of this possibility.

Maybe subconsciously, Song Tingyan already belonged to her, but even so, she still wanted to hear it from his own mouth.

This answer is still very important to her.

Holding her hand tightly, Song Tingyan took a step forward and gently rubbed the crimson mark on her collarbone with his fingertips.

    “There are still problems”

She looked up at him, her eyes sparkling with complex yet firm soft light.

“I want to sleep here tonight…” she said slowly, but after being stared at by him for a few seconds, the frequency of trembling in her heart exploded. She hurriedly lowered her eyes, took a deep breath, and finished her words, “I want to sleep with…teacher…is that okay?”

The air was dead silent for a few seconds.

Just when she couldn’t stand the atmosphere and wanted to speak, the man leaned forward and placed his arms on both sides of the sofa, easily controlling her between his hands.

He looked straight into her eyes and asked sincerely, “You really want to see me lose control.”

Su Ying bit her lip tightly, her breath trembling, “Can you?”

Lose control for me, will you?

“This is very dangerous…” He tilted his head and bit her little ear, his laughter seemed to have sunk to the bottom of the valley.

“If I lose control, I will break you…”

Hickeys were naturally the first time for Su Ying, who had never had any experience in love.

So when she stood in front of the full-length mirror and discovered this mark, her brain exploded.

As soon as she touched that mark, her mind was filled with his hot breath, spraying on her neck one by one.

So she gave up the white shirt she originally planned to wear and wore a black T-shirt honestly.

But when she bent down, she was noticed by Careful Doubao. She squinted her eyes in confusion and raised an ambiguous smile, “It looked very intense last night…”

Su Ying’s face heated up and she firmly denied it, “Don’t talk nonsense.”

Doubao obviously didn’t believe it. Just as he was about to say something, Su Ying’s phone rang.

When she took it out and looked at it, her face fell instantly. After it rang several times, she answered the call impatiently.

The tone is not good, “Something’s wrong”

There was no nonsense on the other end, “Xin Yuan has returned to China, and I may look for you in the next two days.”

“Why are you looking for me?” Su Ying suddenly smiled, cold and desolate, “Are you still her social butterfly?”

The other end remained silent for two seconds before speaking, a little embarrassed, “Su Ying, you know…”

“I know, of course I know.” She sneered, “From the moment I entered the Su family, I understood the meaning of my existence…”

She shook her head, “Su Shinian, you don’t have to pretend to be a loving father. If you hadn’t saved grandma back then, do you really think I would be willing to call you dad?”

“I can understand your resentment towards me. I am sorry for your mother…”

Su Ying’s hair suddenly exploded and she gritted her teeth and said, “You are not allowed to mention her, Su Shinian, you are not qualified.”

Perhaps he was already used to the conversation mode with Su Ying, so he no longer defended anything and just sighed softly, “That Xin Yuan…”

Su Ying wanted to crush the phone into pieces and said before hanging up, “You should be lucky that you saved grandma.”

Su Shinian’s heart suddenly fell to the ground. She could say such things, so she naturally compromised.

Su Ying’s mother is a Jiangnan woman who is exquisite to the core, gentle and elegant.

In her memory, her mother never misbehaved with others and never punished her. Those fairy tale-like ten years were spent with her mother and grandmother.

The absence of a father did not affect her happiness. On the contrary, because of this, her mother and grandmother gave her more care, and she was obedient and did not insist on asking about her father’s whereabouts.

But it wasn’t until she was ten years old that Xin Yuan came with a group of people in an aggressive manner. The house was smashed into pieces, and her grandmother stood on one side and cried helplessly, asking them to stop, but it didn’t help.

When she came home from school, she saw her mother kneeling in the middle of the yard. Her always meticulous hair was messy and spread over her shoulders, and her slim cheongsam was torn and full of wrinkles.

Su Ying almost subconsciously threw herself into her mother’s arms, but when her mother raised her head in despair, Su Ying saw the clear fingerprints on her face. The attack was very heavy, and thin wounds were made on the well-maintained face.

She didn’t know what happened, so she could only howl and cry in pain.

Someone approached her and stopped in front of them. Su Ying was protected behind her by her mother. She looked up in confusion.

That was the first time she saw Xin Yuan.

How to describe this woman? Su Ying, who was only ten years old at the time, could only think of an animal.

    Cheetah.

She had a smile on her face, but it was definitely not a kind smile, it was the kind of sneer that made people’s hair stand on end.

Her voice was sharp, like tiny pinpricks piercing into the skin continuously. It wasn’t a bone-chilling pain, but it was enough to make you tremble timidly.

She asked Su Ying condescendingly, “What is your name?”

Her mother quickly covered her mouth and spoke in an almost decisive tone: “Do you have to do this?”

“I thought you knew it a long time ago.” Xin Yuan smiled evilly, “How could the children of the Su family be allowed to live in such a place?”

Her eyes were full of sarcasm, “Mu Jin, when did you become so naive? Do you really think that as long as you hide it, you can hide it for the rest of your life?”

“After all…” Mu Jin raised his head and looked at her, with an imperceptible contemptuous smile on his lips, “In the end, it’s not because you can’t give birth to a child.”

Xin Yuan was rubbed to the painful spot, her face twisted into a ball, and she shouted loudly: “Mu Jin.”

“If you want it, just take it away…” She said in a deep voice, and the strange words fell clearly into Xin Yuan’s ears: “But if you let me know that you are not good to my daughter, Xin Yuan, I will not let you go even if I am a ghost.”

Mu Jin, with messy hair on her forehead, stared into her eyes and said in a deep voice, “You remember clearly.”

Su Ying was brought back to Su’s house. Before leaving, her mother repeatedly told her not to act like a child. She said that only in this way would her father like her.

The word “dad” is both unfamiliar and curious to Su Ying, so she was very good and didn’t cry along the way.

Xin Yuan said little, and she didn’t know if she was frightened by Mu Jin’s last words. She looked at Su Ying sitting opposite her in a daze.

Those eyebrows and facial features are clearly a smaller version of Mu Jin.

She hated him with all her heart, but she wasn’t so crazy that she took it out on a child.

What’s more, Su Ying’s face will be of great use in the future…
