    €03:Mermaid

Ding Rou thought Kabu was talking nonsense, how could she pounce on someone when they first met, but she still accepted Kabu’s suggestion and went to take a shower.

Because she smelled really bad, she felt like she was going to vomit after a few more sniffs, and she didn’t know how she was able to eat just now.

After taking a bath, Ding Fu’an hadn’t come back yet, so Ding Rou locked the door and took a path to the beach.

Before she even reached the beach, it was already dark. There was no moon or stars tonight, and Dingrou had no lighting, so she could only continue on her way in the dark.

Fortunately, Kabu was chatting with her, otherwise she would be really scared to be alone.

Before reaching the beach, you can hear the sound of sea water hitting the rocks.

Ding Rou carefully walked to a huge stone and squatted down, touched the bracelet given by the mermaid on her wrist, then stretched her hand into the sea water, let the water cover the bracelet, and waved her hand left and right.

After about a few minutes, the sea surface suddenly rippled in circles, and then the water splashed up, revealing a black thing on the sea surface, slowly swimming closer.

There was obviously no light, but Ding Rou saw the faint, flickering light on the swimming thing. It was very beautiful, as if someone had dropped small stars into the sea.

In just a blink of an eye, the flashing thing was in front of him.

“It’s so late, why are you still coming to the beach?” The man’s voice was like pearls falling on a plate, clear and beautiful.

Ding Rou squinted her eyes and couldn’t see his face clearly, but just by looking at the outline, she knew it was extremely beautiful. When the original owner saw the mermaid for the first time, she thought she was an angel she had heard about from other children.

Ding Rou calmed down her emotions and said in a tearful voice: “My father beat me again, and I escaped.”

“Are you injured?” The mermaid’s body was half exposed from the sea, holding her hands on the reef, and anxiously looked closely at Ding Rou’s body.

The original owner took the first medicine from him and was beaten again, but he didn’t tell the mermaid, for fear that he would be worried. Every time he came to see him, if he had any injuries, he would cover them tightly with clothes.

Ding Rou was not the original owner, she came with a purpose and was wearing short sleeves. The mermaid can also see at night, and she saw the scars on her arms at a glance, and her eyes turned red with pain: “Why did he attack so cruelly! Just wait, I will get you medicine.”

As he said that, he was about to plunge back into the water. Ding Rou quickly said: “Don’t go, it’s useless. The medicine you gave me has no effect on me.”

The mermaid was stunned, feeling disappointed that it didn’t help her: “But didn’t you say it was useful last time? Did you lie to me?”

For some reason, Ding Rou’s heart softened when she heard what he said, and she explained softly and gently that she didn’t want him to worry.

“Don’t do this next time, okay? We are friends, friends shouldn’t hide things from each other, and I will be worried.” Afraid that she wouldn’t listen, he emphasized again, “I’m very worried.”

Ding Rou responded repeatedly, and then she pursed her lips and said aggrievedly: “My body hurts so much… You don’t know, he beat me so hard, without mercy at all, as if I am not his daughter.”

“He’s a bastard, a big bastard!” He didn’t seem to be good at cursing, so she just said this back and forth. Ding Rou looked at him and suddenly felt that the wounds on her body didn’t hurt so much.

After finishing the scolding, the mermaid paused and said in a small voice, as if whispering in someone’s ear: “Actually… I have a way to heal your injuries.”
